A Jet Lagged Week

Nothing like jumping right into the thick of things. While I did rest on Sunday (although not as much as some other folks I could name), Monday was full of meetings, and towards the afternoon I was a little concerned about how to avoid going to sleep while in front of the client. That day was followed by a day where I had to get up around 5:30 to head out to Latimer to tutor a course. Somehow, I still managed to get my overall sleep schedule more or less in line by today. Mich and the kids had a little bit easier time of things, since Dalton and Maggie didn't start school until yesterday. So I guess we're now trying to get back into a normal routine after a couple of weeks of definite non-routine.

Our milk deliveries started this week, too, and I know that I may be getting a little overdramatic about this, but I was really excited to go out and pick up the milk from outside the door starting on Tuesday morning. The kids milk was in the regular plastic type container, but Mich's milk comes in a glass bottle, which I just find so quaint and cool.

The fact that I'm blogging about milk deliveries should tell you a little about the pace of the week outside of work. I think it's been more or less trying to get everyone back on the same time zone so we can actually sleep when we're supposed to. Still, it's been good to have a somewhat quiet week. I'm sure the next post will be more interesting, if for no reason than the fact that my brother and sister-in-law are coming to visit.
