So, you may ask, what has been going on while all these lists have been dominating the internet blogging waves? To be honest, not a whole lot. As noted in the last post, the washing machine broke about a week ago, and to this point, we have been unsuccessful in getting in touch with our landlord, so it remains broken - which is not a good thing.
Of course, yesterday was the London-Brighton Bike Ride, so Dalton and I spent a good deal of the first part of the day watching the bikers ride by - or rather, I spent a good deal of time watching them ride by, while Dalton spent most of his time squirting them with water. Maggie and Michelle went to Maggie's ballet practice.
Dalton made it to the Imperial War Museum as part of a school trip this past week, which sounds like it was pretty cool. Dalton says he wants to go to the HMS Belfast now, and he is actually reasonably knowledgeable about World War II now.
The previous weekend, we went down to Brighton and spent the day there - which, of course, resulted in the pictures previously posted. We also made it to church in London, only to find that the pastor is accepting the pastorate at a church in Columbus, Mississippi. Definitely one of those small world feelings.
So, let's see, what else... I think that's about it. As you can see, sometimes it doesn't really matter where you are, sometimes life is just mundane.
Still, as pointed out to me, I somehow shorted everyone a few pictures on the flowers post, so I'll come back with some more later, and perhaps a few extra ones of some of the cottages down around the lake, which are quite pretty.
